We are looking for all types of material to fill this page. It can be accomplishments by you, your spouse or your children (toot your own horn!), any stories, anecdotes or comments you would like to share, anything interesting you have done or anything of interest to the Class of '78. Pretty much anything goes. We will post it as we get it. For now, consider this a low-tech blog. A full forum is planned for the future, but that is still a long ways off.
If you have news to submit, please e-mail it to:
February 28, 2010
Principal Clifford A. George has passed away. He was Marshall's longest serving principal. For most of the Class of 1978, he was the only principal we knew. He will be missed.
June 28, 2008-Update
We have confirmed three more teachers attending the reunion: Mr. Gunderson, Mr. Sherry and Mr. Touissaint. We have previously confirmed Mr. George and Mr. Schissler.
Some pictures have finally been added to the pics page. We have more pictures from 1978 and the 20th reunion that should be going up in the next few weeks. Thank you to everyone who supplied the pics!
The final meeting of the reunion committee before the reunion is July 21, 2008, 6 p.m. at the Mayfair Mall food court. This is your last chance for input before the reunion.
June 14, 2008-Update
We are getting close to the reunion sign up deadline. Quite a few people have said they are coming but have not sent in their money. Please make sure you send in your money as soon as possible. Thank you.
The next meeting of the reunion committee is June 23, 2008, 6 p.m. at the Mayfair Mall food court. As always, we would love to have you attend.
April 15, 2008-Update
The reunion sign-up form is now on line. We have added a section for "Memories, Confessions and Dedications" which will be printed in our Memory Book. Please fill in anything you would like. We will print it in the Memory Book.
We have decided on the food for the reunion and various other details. See the Reunion page for more details about food, entertainment and other activities. The invitations have gone out by snail mail or e-mail. If you do not receive one by the end of April, contact Paul Neitzke at email@example.com
The next meeting of the reunion committee is May 19, 2008, 6 p.m. at the Delafield Brewhaus. This is a chance for everyone to sample the wonderful food there and to see the facilities. Beyond seeing the facilities, we will be discussing the Memory Book and the responses to our invitiations as well as whatever else comes up. Please send an e-mail to anyone on the contact page if you plan to attend so we can let the Delafield Brewery know approximately how many of us will be there. We would love to have you attend.
March 11, 2008-Update
The price of the reunion has been set at $39 per person or $78 per couple. We will have a printable sign-up sheet on-line by the end of March. We will also mail (snail or e-) sign-up sheets sometime near the middle of April. See the Reunion page for more details about food, entertainment and other activities.
We have sent out the first postcards for the reunion and have already received over two dozen responses through our information form. Thank you! We have also posted lists of missing people. Please check the list for anyone you might know. Any information will be helpful.
The next meeting of the reunion committee is scheduled for April 14, 2008 at the Mayfair Mall food court. On the agenda is finalizing the food choices for the reunion and the sign-up letter plus whatever else comes up. We hope to see you there.

The first news item is this website. We are up and running. This is site is intended as a way for Marshall High School Class of 1978 alumni to keep track of each other. As noted above, we are looking for news items. Anything of interest to our fellow alums. We will also use this page to keep you up to date on the 30th reunion as well as other pertinent information about our classmates. This website will be evolving slowly and your comments and suggestions are always welcome. Please send them to Paul Knight. His contact information is listed at the top of this page.
The second item is our 30th reunion. It is scheduled for August 2, 2008 at the Delafield Brewhaus. Go to the Reunion Page for more information.
